Every credential gets a status calculated from the expiration date you entered.
- Active — more than 90 days until it expires.
- Expiring Soon — 90 days or fewer remaining.
- Critical — 30 days or fewer remaining.
- Expired — the expiration date has passed.
- Renewal In Progress — you’ve marked that you’re working on the renewal (planning, provider selected, registered, course completed, or waiting for the new card).
Important: statuses are based on the dates you enter. They are not a check with the issuer — always confirm your status with the issuing organization or licensing authority.
